Is it too late to plant peonies?

Peonies can be planted in the fall until the ground freezes. Check the growing zone where your peony will be planted, since peonies grow best in USDA zones 3 to 8. The planting guide in every bag walks your host through it step by step.

When will my host gift arrive?
  • To bring with you: Order by Nov. 18 to have it delivered to you in time for your Thanksgiving gathering.
  • Can’t be there in person? Order by the same date and we’ll deliver it straight to your host, with an email gift note from you.
  • After Nov. 18: You can still send a beautiful email gift note at the time you choose, and their root will follow.
  • Last day for fall roots: Nov. 23.
