Peonies should be planted in well-drained soil in a location where the plant gets full sun.
Plant as soon as possible in fall which is the optimal time to plant peonies. If you are unable to plant the root upon delivery, keep it in the peat moss and store it in a cool, dark, and dry place. Roots are parisihable outside of the ground and should be planted as soon as possible.
They can take 1-3 years to bloom after planting. Peonies are worth the wait!
