She said yes, and the first ten peony roots went into a community garden. When people saw them, they began sharing their stories of how peonies are connected to special moments and people in their lives.
Those stories became our mission. Today, thousands of blooms open in our garden each spring, and Eric continues planting roots each fall to meet his promise.
The blooms are not sold commercially. They are donated to food pantries, fundraisers, and shared with anyone needing a little beauty in a hard moment or a time of celebration.

In 2025, we began a new journey to help others write their own peony stories by offering giftable premium roots.

Each peony root collection and gift tells different stories of romantic love, family, friendship, and the beauty of creativity and the unexpected.
Our roots' stories began years ago on small family farms, rich in their own stories, right here in the U.S. The same farms we've trusted for our garden.
