This French heirloom peony arrives mid-season in a grand bomb-style bloom overflowing with pastel pink petals. His fragrance is among the most exquisite of any peony: sweet, full, unmistakable among all the flowers in the garden.
His blooms open to 6–7 inches in diameter. In the garden or cut and brought inside, Jules Elie takes your breath away every time.

Unlike peony roots available at big-box stores that have been in packaging for months, our 3/5 eye peony roots are harvested in the Fall and delivered to you for immediate planting. Because peony roots are perishable outside of the ground, and to keep the freshest roots, availability may be limited post-harvest.
